Animals in and around the Everglades.
Grey Squirrels. These sort of friendly little creatures can be found all over the Everglades and the rest of the USA also. They frequent out parks and our urban streets. I have photos of other animals like horses and bulls. otters and raccoons, and some ground hogs, deer and tree frogs.
Wild Animals. Lots of the more exotic animals can be photographed in the zoo, I am sure there is a one near you somewhere. In the wild a chance meeting with a wild creature is an unusual occurrence and a real delight when it does happen. There are plenty of smaller creatures around like rabbits and raccoons and such. But you need to be up and out at dawn to see them as that is the time of day when they are most active.
Photographing The Animals.
Photography Tips. Photographing animals is a great experience, best done at dawn or sunset, during the golden hours. Lots of animals and creatures will rest up during the heat of the day and only feed in the morning and evening. All creatures are very easily spooked so a long zoom is needed at least a 300/500mm or longer.
