Grass Paintography. Grass and Grass like plants are one of nature's great creations. Grasses are very important to animals, it provides food and shelter for all kinds of creatures big and small. Animals and humans also all over the world rely on grass and cereals. The great African Savannah grass lands are home to enormous herds of animals who rely on the grass for their very existence.

Beautiful and Colorful Grass. All kinds og bugs, beetles and butterflies are attracted to the colorful and scented Grass. grass also makes the most wonderful photography subject. grass is so varied and it can be photographed at ant time.

Photographing the Grass. But of course the golden hours of dawn and sunset are the best times to be doing photography. But dawn is the out and out best time for photographing the grass as it can be covered in dew drops and the early morning can create a fine mist that makes grass glow in the dawn light. Any lens will do the trick as you can zoom in for close up shots or wide angle to get the rising sun through the grass.

Grass Photography. Any macro lens will certainly help you to get some real up close shots of single blades of grass and maybe dew drops, but just about any lens will do. I like my Sony 24x70mm f2.8 for grass photography as it gets me up close if I want to be and also allows for wider angle shooting and having low light capability in it's f2.8 means I can get in some pre-dawn shots.
