Lake Harmon Sunrise - Everglades Dawn - A New Day Begins.
Sunrise in the Everglades.
In the heart of the Everglades is a most beautiful Lake called Harmon. This is one of my all time favorite places to be in SW Florida. In short it is a beautiful piece of
Florida Everglades paradise. Not all of the sunrises are as beautiful as the ones I photographed here, but the dawn still retains it's own natural beauty no matter what the sunrise is like, Lake Harmon and the Everglades remain an amazing place to take a nature walk and don't forget the camera for some outstanding natural beauty to photograph.

Photographing The Dawn.
Photographing at dawn is still the best time of the day for photography. We photographers call it the golden hour for a reason. it is a time of day when the light is at it's softest and colors are drawn out and not faded as in the midday sun.
A wide angle lens is best about 24x70mm and maybe keep the sun low down in the bottom third of the picture. Don't forget to do foreground, middle and back ground objects. Aperture Priority mode at f8 or f11 is best so the distance can be a little faded like a mist effect, I like to shoot sunrise at f8.
If you are not sure of the cameras settings for Manual Mode switch to Auto it will take a good photos and look at the settings that the camera chooses and learn by them as they are never far wrong.
