Lovable Squirrels.
The squirrel is found in many countries of the world it is quite a remarkable and adaptive animal. Squirrels can be seen right though the summer months collecting nuts to store away for winter time. In the Big Cypress part of the Everglades we have one called the Fox Squirrel, named after it's big bushy tail like that of a fox. This squirrel is red and grey.
Squirrels.
Squirrels breed once or twice a year, and they give birth to a varying number of young after three to six weeks, depending on species. The young are born naked, toothless, and blind. In most species of squirrel, only the female looks after the young, which are weaned at around six to ten weeks of age and become sexually mature at the end of their first year.
Ground dwelling species are generally social animals, often living in well-developed colonies, but the tree-dwelling species are more solitary.

Photography Tips.
Photographing Squirrels is best in the early morning and evening and if you spread some nuts around they will hang about longer so you get lots of shots. Try to get interesting
backgrounds if you can or if not use a low f number to make the background blurry. Maybe increase the exposure compensation to -2 to bring out the colors.
